Enlit Europe once again served as a global meeting point in Bilbao for energy professionals to collaborate and inspire action to accelerate Europe’s transition toward a decarbonized and digitized energy system.
As part of the E-NERGY Cluster, EU-DREAM joined forces with fellow EU-funded projects—DIGITISE, DECODIT, ENERGENIUS, and CELINE to highlight how digital solutions can empower citizens and customers in shaping the future of energy. The cluster’s presence included a webinar, a dedicated booth in the EU Projects Zone, and an interactive workshop, creating multiple opportunities to share insights and engage with stakeholders.

Webinar: Making Energy Information Accessible
On 6 November, the webinar “Digital Technologies to Make Energy Information More Accessible and Engaging” provided a focused platform to explore how digital tools can enhance public participation in the energy system. Experts from across the cluster discussed:
- Data-driven decision-making
- Practical applications from pilot projects
- Strategies to help citizens, organizations, and policymakers act with greater awareness of environmental and social priorities

Workshop: Collaboration for Innovation
The interactive workshop held on the first day of Enlit Europe showcased the benefits of a cluster-based approach in driving innovation. Speakers from participating projects shared technical and strategic insights, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in developing practical solutions.
Contributors included Pablo Barrachina Rodríguez-Guisado (Voltiva Energy), Antonis Papanikolaou (Que Technologies), Luca Capra (Spindox Labs), Eleni Tsironi (UBITECH), Mariana Jimenez (EPRI Europe), and Vassilis Antonopoulos (Que Technologies).
The E-NERGY Cluster’s is committed to driving transparency, participation, and digital readiness across Europe’s energy landscape. By facilitating direct engagement, sharing expertise, and enabling collaborative dialogue, the cluster is not only shaping a more accessible and people-centred energy transition it is laying the foundation for a future where citizens and stakeholders actively co-create a smarter, more sustainable energy system.
